While this approach is the prevailing industry standard, it creates a large burden of anxiety as our young turks become introverted and nervous and sometimes a little defensive about whether they are doing it right – while also trying to figure out the job!

Management Practices is a custom executive development program for people who are managing but haven’t had management training. Unlike stock courses that focus on basic skills rather than perspective, each program is designed for the participants, their circumstances and company. In pre-session interviews, we establish objectives, priorities and key barriers. Discussions and assignments focus on these areas first, then on theory.
