Spirit (Purpose) Wrap-Up and Bridge to Mastering the Back to Basics Series

“One piece of the puzzle does not make the whole picture; nor does communicating only on one channel. You need all the pieces for someone to get the full picture.”
— Lucy Lanzar

In this Back to Basics Series, our focus has been on Body, Mind and Spirit as the underlying principles of communication — with practical applications.

Over the past months, we’ve covered the Mind (Process) — Composition… How you compose your thoughts into a memorable and repeatable message that gets results!

Your well-composed message, however, can fall short of the intended impact, if not “Packaged” appropriately. Hence, we covered the Body (Package) – specifically, Signature and Visual Aids.

Finally, we covered the Spirit (Purpose) segment of this series. Without spirit, intent, and purpose, even the best composed message and unique signature will still lack the power to move an audience.  That’s where spirit comes in. It’s the most powerful part of your communication/presentation.

Beginning next week, our focus will shift to mastering all elements body, mind, and spirit — of an effective, well-crafted and results-oriented presentation.

Consider the upcoming Cornerstones as your guide to Mastering the Back to Basics Series.

In the meantime, to review (or catch up on articles you might have missed), here are the Back to Basics Cornerstones (with links) we previously posted:
