President/COO

Ms. Lanzar brings an exceptional level of commitment to her duties as President/COO of the Fusion Group. In addition to designing new programs and overseeing the operational and financial areas of Fusion, she currently trains and consults with clients in the financial, advertising, marketing, research and manufacturing industries.

How many people in the world can, or actually have run a full Marathon? And how many have completed multiples? We give you Lucy Lanzar, who’s experience designing performance enhancement programs for athletes really provides a powerful alternate perspective which helps her students achieve excellent business results. Known for her compassionate but tough “can do” teaching style, she is often found kneeling on the floor supervising visual aid creation or spending an extra minute clarifying a difficult concept. Her devotion is returned by her students who later speak glowingly of her unique capacity to inspire them to new heights of ability.

Always a pioneer, Lucy has enjoyed many career “firsts.” When she joined the Fusion Group, she left behind an eight year assignment as the first female Federal Agent and Firearms Instructor in New York City. Working in the national and international arenas, she’s had numerous experiences creating and delivering presentations under stressful and even life-threatening situations. Her “Inside the Investigation” discussions at lunches are often an un-looked-for bonus to her students.

Ms. Lanzar graduated from the University of Louisville with High Honors. She now resides in Florida where she pursues her interests in art collecting, real estate and writing chapters in her “soon to be released” international suspense novel. When not at a keyboard or in the conference room, she can be found with the running club, training or competing in half, full-marathons or duathlons. She’s an Iron Girl who joins the team at Starbucks for coffee, where she’s known as the honorary Mayor of Weston. Then of course, there’s a sushi dinner or two and it’s back on the weekly training schedule.

Lucy’s office is a collection of modern art, elegant, practically invisible technology and comfortable places to stop, think, discuss and plan. On the way in or out, you may notice an estimable collection of race trophies and pictures attesting to a lifetime dedication to athletics.
